For researchers, the publication of research data with LaRS is free of charge.
Data that is submitted via the SWISSUbase platform are archived according to the OAIS standard.
Every published dataset is assigned a DOI so that it is citable in a scientific context. After data curation, your project metadata and datasets remain findable in the SWISSUbase catalogue for at least 10 years.

The data curators assist you with entering your project and submitting your datasets. They check the metadata you entered for correctness and plausibility. They also perform random checks on the readability of the data.
The data curators decide on a case-by-case basis whether to make changes directly themselves or in consultation with you as the data depositor. In the latter case, you will receive a list with suggested changes.
